Moodle with K-12 Planet
Submitted by Shelley_Chamberlain on Tue, 03/04/2008 - 9:13pm.
There has been some discussion about combining products for our portal. That makes sense to me as I would like to spend more energy refining what we have now. I really think Moodle? is a wonderful tool for teachers to post so many things related to the classroom operations...as well as provide forums for students to chat. If each secondary teacher had an online presence with Moodle, I think that would go a long way to improved communication. I would couple this with some type of simple program that would report out attendance and grades...

Have you seen the teacher tube about Moodle?
Moofolio: Digital Portfolio Module
Submitted by Shelley_Chamberlain on Mon, 02/18/2008 - 9:49am.
Have you heard about Moofolio? It is a module (developed in NH) that goes with Moodle? to host electronic portfolios created by students. This is a very interesting concept that I think would be an excellent form of assessment.
