Agenda?

Is there no agenda for this meeting? What will be discussed? Who is welcome?

Just posted the agenda. You

Just posted the agenda. You are more than welcome to attend. It would be great to have students involved. Please read about the four project teams and let me know which one suits you the best.
Thanks!
(We are piloting 1-1 computing at the middle schools so the project-based learning team is joining us on that work. Perhaps we need another project team working that we have not formed this year!)

Good points

Good points, Danny.

First off, ALL are welcome! I hope you will join us.

Second, I'm sure Shelley will have the agenda ready shortly. Generally, we spend about 30 minutes up front or at the end in a large group and the other 60 minutes in breakout teams around specific projects. I lead the School Portal team and, speaking selfishly, I hope you'll join my team during the breakout period. We have a TON of work going on and still to do. We can use all the help we can get!!

More to come...

As listed on the groups

As listed on the groups page, the core NPS? TAC? team is a separate group. Does that core team meet during that period or it it just the other teams?

Thanks,

.Danny

TAC Core Team

The NPS? TAC? Core Team is a little different animal. It's not a project-based team. Instead, it's members work closely with Shelley Chamberlain to guide the direction of the TAC and figure out how best to support Shelley as her responsibilities in Newton Public Schools expand to become more like a CIO.

Cool, thanks. I am a core

Cool, thanks. I am a core member of the Ubuntu Massachusetts Local Community Team so i'm connected with a lot of tech-savvy people. Even though they aren't from Newton, would it be okay if i brought one of them along if they're up for it?

Sure thing

Sure thing. The more the merrier...so long as you understand there's a chance you might get put to work! ;-)

Great, i invited the Ubuntu

Great, i invited the Ubuntu MA team leader to come who will meet with the school portal team and i'll be meeting with the 1-1 learning team
